Each section will provide 4 teams. Two teams in the A section and 2 Teams in the B Section.
Each team to have 4 players playing singles & 1 doubles pair.
If need be, singles players may also play as the doubles pair.
A Pool – Two teams of 4 players seeded in strength 1-8.
Pool B – Two teams of 4 players with teams of equal strength.
Doubles
Player's strength should be representative of the pools in which they are playing in. Player combinations may change from one round to another.
Best of 5 Games apply for both pools.
Pool A section - Each game is played to 11 points. The first player to 11 wins the game.
Pool B section - Each game is played to 15 points. The first player to 15 wins the game.
If the game becomes tied at 10-10 (A section or 14-14 (B section) , it’s “win by 2”.
There are no bonus points in the results. Only games points i.e. 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 count.
Each team captain must hand-over the results as soon as possible after each match.
Completed score cards must be signed by both captains and handed-over after each round.
The 'double yellow dot ball should be used, unless both players agree to play with a different ball.
Any disputes must be settled by the Tournament referee
All games should be refereed by members of the competing teams
Minor arrangements
Some players may require, due to unforeseen circumstances, changes in playing order or starting times. Each of these players must negotiate this with their counter parts & team captains.
